Julien Lange, young skier from Tignes and member of the OXBOW team, got a wildcard for the Winter X-Games Europe! He will have the chance to be part of this European première!

From March, 10^th to 12^th 2010, the best riders of the world will face on the snow of the famous French ski resort, for high level competitions, like SuperPipe and Slopestyle.

Unseen yet in Europe, the Winter X-Games Europe will offer us an incredible level and a very spectacular show!

Rider known for his style, Julien Lange will be the only French rider to participate in the Slopestyle session, next to some of the best freestylers of the world, like Xavier Bertoni or Kevin Rolland.

We will follow our young rider during this event and will keep you updated of his performances!

Kai Lenny, the young waterman of the OXBOW team, won, on February, 12th 2010, the first round of the Stand Up World Tour, on the iconic surf spot of Sunset Beach (North Shore of Hawaii).

Our rider, 17 years old, has dominated the contest from the beginning to its end, holding the lead against the worldwide best watermen and several legends like Robby Naish: no one could stop him! 

In solid conditions, Kai showed everyone his maturity in surfing and in his approach of competition. His talent, his humble nature and his concentration allowed him to take the head of the ratings and crowned him as the Sunset Beach Pro Champion for 2010!! 

Next round in France, May 2010. 

Kai Lenny will be for sure the man to beat during this second round… Our young rider from Maui will ensure the future of this sport! Congratulations Kai!

Once again this season, a kid from the Oxbow team scored on the national snowboarding scene! After Thomas Delfino, it’s now Alicia Bonnaud who is under the spotlights!

Indeed, she just won the French slopestyle national cup this weekend, February, 7^th at Cauterets – French Pyrénées. Alicia, sixteen years old, got there a wonderful victory, winning against the best French snowboarder girls!
She positioned herself as one of the best snowboarder on the French scene and a serious challenger for the major events.

This victory is very important as the event counts for the 2011 World Cup selection and also for the Junior World Championship selection.

This is a great victory that gives us high expectations for the future of this very talented young snowboarder!

Turkey and Greece: here are the two destinations where the skiers and snowboarders of the Oxbow team rode last winter, filmed by Invert Production and pictured by Elina Sirparanta and Scalp.

Always looking for untraced faces and fresh powder, our riders went first to Turkey, in the Kaçkar Mountains, north-east of the country. In January, during 10 days, they discovered the Turkish culture and enjoyed amazing riding conditions on endless faces!

Delighted by their experience, they decided to fly over to Greece, to challenge the Mount Parnassos, between greek mythology and research of the perfect riding zone.

Those two amazing trips gave us beautiful pictures and videos.

We will meet in 2010, with new trips planned, searching for untraced faces to always push further the Backcountry limits.
